Alien Skin Oil

The Alien Skin Oil is a lightweight oil used to lock in moisture on the skin. It can be used alone or paired with other moisturizers to help lock in even more moisture. 

Ingredients in order of percentage: Jojoba Oil, Grapeseed Oil, Sunflower Oil, Papaya Seed Oil, Coconut Oil, and Olive Oil. 

Apply a few pumps of this oil on wet or damp skin to trap in moisture. Can also be used as an extra layer of protection after you apply your favorite water-based lotion or cream.

Jojoba Oil has been used on skin for acne, psoriasis, sunburn and chapped skin. It's the oil that closely mimics the natural sebum produced by our skin. It has anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties. Rich in vitamin E and offers antioxidant protection.

Grapeseed Oil is often used for sensitive skin. It contains the antioxidant proanthocyanidin, which can help even out skin tone when used consistently. Provides UV protection by preventing your skin from absorbing the full UV rays. Also promotes collagen repair.

Sunflower Oil is great for sensitive skin and has amazing healing and anti-inflammatory properties. This oil was first cultivated by indigenous people of America to condition the skin and hair and to also soothe snake bites.

Papaya Seed Oil contains Vitamin C and carotene which help fight free radicals that can lead to premature aging and hyperpigmentation. It can also help promote scar healing and other skin conditions. 

Coconut Oil can help reduce inflammation, prevent infection and minimize the look of fine lines. I use the fractionated version of coconut oil because it can penetrate skin better and not leave a greasy film. 

Olive Oil is nutrient packed. It has linoleic acid which help to enhance skin barrier function. Olive oil contains squalene which helps reduce inflammation and free radical damage.
